Every day, the skin undergoes deterioration and loses collagen, a key component in maintaining youthful appearance, due to the natural aging process. This results in aging skin, which is a significant reason why The Standard Aesthetic Clinic chooses technologies that deliver the maximum results for all patients
What is Morpheus 8?
Morpheus 8 is the latest technology for non-surgical lifting, combining microneedling and fractional radiofrequency. This dual approach stimulates new collagen formation (dermal remodeling) and subdermal adipose remodeling, resulting in naturally youthful-looking skin. It effectively addresses skin laxity, reduces wrinkles, minimizes pores, treats acne scars, smooths uneven skin texture, and corrects hyperpigmentation
Why is Morpheus 8?
At The Standard Aesthetic Clinic, we prioritize quality and optimal results for every patient. We have chosen Morpheus 8 as our hero product because it is a USFDA-approved technology, ensuring the deepest skin penetration with fractional radiofrequency (the deepest FDA-approved fractional technology). It is the first and only technology capable of contracting subdermal fat (Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device: SARD)
How It Works
Due to the specific characteristics of Morpheus 8, the treating physician can precisely determine the desired skin depth using Multi-layer Technology. This can be adjusted up to 4 millimeters on the face and 8 millimeters on the body. The technology delivers radiofrequency energy through gold-coated pins to the treatment area, ensuring that the upper skin layer is not damaged by heat. This process stimulates the regeneration of new skin, including collagen fibers and elastin fibers, and enhances the production of hyaluronic acid, leading to plumper skin. It also promotes fibroblast proliferation and contracts subdermal fat layers. This comprehensive approach is safe for all skin tones, minimizing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
Commitment to Cleanliness and Safety at The Standard Aesthetic Clinic
The Morpheus 8 tip is single-use only, disposed of after each session. The tips are packaged using gamma sterilization, and the physician opens the package in front of the patient before each treatment.
Morpheus 8 Body
Morpheus 8 Body is the first and only technology to be cleared by the USFDA for deep 7 mm subdermal adipose tissue remodeling. It is also certified by Health Canada as the first and only technology to penetrate subdermal tissue with a thermal profile of 8 mm. This allows it to contract and remodel fat up to a depth of 7 millimeters and penetrate up to 8 millimeters with the added thermal energy, using a tip with 40 gold-coated pins. It can treat various body areas, including underarms, front bra rolls, abdomen, thighs, and banana rolls.
Unique Burst Technology?
Burst Technology is a distinctive feature of Morpheus 8 Body, allowing multi-level penetration with each energy pulse or shot. This stimulates the repair and bracing of the Fibro Septal Network (FSN), fibers that anchor the dermis to the subcutaneous fat, enhancing skin tightness and addressing laxity.
Pre-Treatment Preparation
To minimize the risk of bruising, avoid antiplatelet medications such as aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, herbal supplements, vitamin E, and fish oil for at least one week before treatment. Patients with chronic conditions should consult their physician before treatment.
Avoid products containing retinol, topical antibiotics, or exfoliants for 48 hours before treatment, and avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 24 hours before treatment.
Post-Treatment Care for Morpheus 8
- Avoid water on the treated area for the first 24 hours.
- Apply Antibiotic Ointment to the treated area for 1-3 days.
- Avoid direct sunlight or tanning for at least 1-2 weeks.
- Once the treated area has scabbed over, apply moisturizers and sunscreen with SPF 30+ as usual.
Tips for Long-Lasting Results
The Standard Aesthetic Clinic recommends the following to maintain results:
- Keep the treated area well-moisturized.
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Apply sunscreen with SPF 30+ daily.
For the best results, it is recommended to undergo the Morpheus program 1-3 times, depending on the patient’s condition and the physician’s assessment. The experienced medical team at The Standard Aesthetic Clinic ensures that most patients are satisfied with the results from their first treatment session.
